If you’re not used to this level of transparency, welcome to the Jack Settleman/Snapback Sports experience.

The reason I do this is not to flex, not to brag but to hopefully help someone reading this.

I was inspired by Omar Raja to start Snapback Sports. I followed his journey when he built House of Highlights, sold to Bleacher Report, left for ESPN and wish I had been able to know ‘with financial figures’ what he got right and wrong.

In the later sections, some specifics will have to be omitted out of respect to employees and partners.

Snapback Sports is a private company which means we can share as much as we want.

So, hopefully this helps that early day creator, that media business scaling or even inspires someone to see that you don’t NEED big $ to get started.
