How to Get Lucky

“You are so lucky to have been at the Texas game”

“Wow, you’re so lucky”

These were just a couple of the comments this weekend after I saw my Longhorns complete the greatest comeback in CFB history (technically).

And yes, I am a very lucky person.

If you think that everything you’ve accomplished in life has not been majority luck, then you probably have a bit of an ego.

I was lucky to be born with 2 parents who taught me a ton.

I was lucky when I survived a car crash that took the driver’s life who hit us.

And I’m lucky to be born in a time where technological and medical advances are what they are. We all are.

While those are lucky things with 0% contribution from me, I’m a huge believer that you can make your own luck.
