The Road to Becoming a $200,000,023 Company
The best week we've had as a company
Dear readers,
Welcome back to the newsletter. If you’re reading this, you have an interest in Snapback Sports or Jack Settleman.
This newsletter is for those who want to watch Snapback Sports build in public. As an added bonus, you will also likely learn about the sports industry.
Now, let’s get into it 👇️
Today’s Topic:
Company Offsite
Last week, we held our third company offsite trip in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
The first two trips took place in New York, where we’re headquartered, but our trip to S.C. was Snapback Sports’ first true offsite.
Because we’re a pretty remote team (only three of 12 members reside in NY), I still considered it an offsite in years past.
While a ton of companies (most notably Amazon) have returned to the office up to five days a week, we remain a remote team. My philosophy is that it’s better to recruit top talent than to require everyone to be in the same location.
With that being said, the value of in-person cannot be understated. This was the first time we had the entire team together since we doubled the team last June.
The team building was incredible, but the work we got done was even better.
Here’s what we learned at the Snapback Sports 2025 Company Offsite.
