We Are Attempting to Break a World Record
Will we do it?

Consider this the official press release of our World Record Attempt:
Casey Settleman will attempt to go to the most match days in the history of a single World Cup.
In the 39 days from June 11th (start of the World Cup) to July 19th (WC Final), there are 34 days where a soccer match is being played.
For those who aren’t into the footy, this is the largest World Cup ever.
Not only because it spans an entire continent but because for the first time ever, the field has expanded from 32 to 48 teams.
While Casey won’t have a chance to break the record for most matches attended in a single World Cup (44 at the 2022 Qatar WC), he will do something I find way more impressive.
In today’s newsletter, I’ll break down the plan, how much we will spend and how we will measure this crazy feat.
